Coral Springs, in Northwest Broward County, Florida, was incorporated as a City in 1963, and by 1964, a master plan was developed and the first land sale was held. From the beginning, strict landscaping and sign laws were designed to create a beautiful and natural looking town. Coral Springs is considered one of the most successful planned communities in the country, and has become the 11 th largest city in Florida .

Coral Springs has 61 neighborhood parks and sports facilities, 4 Wildlife Sanctuaries and Preserves, and 4 four large community parks. In addition, the City is home to the 180 acre Sportsplex which includes a world-class Aquatic Complex, a Tennis Center , an Ice Arena, an Athletic Complex, a Dog Park , and a Wildlife Hospital .
